About a work

The painting “Dispute” from the minimalist philosophical series “Simplicity” depicts an egg. The eternal debate about what comes first - the egg or the chicken, haunts philosophers, biologists, representatives of religions. In a seemingly naive question lies a deep thought of existence. On the other hand, the picture seems to be a kind of portal into something bright, like the path of spirituality leading to enlightenment or a new life. The shape of the portal in the form of an egg is symbolic. The author assigned the number 351 to this painting, which was created in a single copy using the artist’s original technology. The background is painted with brushstrokes with a transition of light and dark tones. When depicting the central object, both a brush and a palette knife were used, which gave it volume.
